Day 01: Arrival in Leh. Kushok Bakula airport.
From airport to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest for acclimatization wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served. Lunch will be served at 02:00pm. After lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at Leh in Hotel/Guest house.
Day 02: A Full-day sightseeing to the Monasteries of Indus valley (104 Kms / 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast drive to visit the 16th century Shey Palace shrine room, 14th century Thiksay, 17th century Hemis monasteries. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight at Leh in Hotel/Guest house.
Day 03: Leh to Pangong Lake (140 Kms /4-5 hrs)
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.). This route takes the visitor past picturesque villages of Shey and Thikse, and turns off the Indus valley by the side-valley of Chemrey and Sakti. Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. Overnight at Pangong Lake in Deluxe Camp.
Day 03: Drive Leh – Likir village Sham valley. Start trek from Likir to Yangthang village across Phobe La (4 to 5 hrs).
Morning after breakfast you will be driven by taxi to Likir which is just 58 kms. Away. Likir Village (3650 mts.) is the starting point of our trek. Although the distance is short, the route is warm, without any shade or water and we need to traverse two passes. From Likir the route heads west up to Phobe La (3580m) and beyond this lies Sumdo village. The trail goes steadily upwards till you get to Chagatse La (3630m). Across the pass is the village of Yangthang village(3630m) where we camp for the night, next to a stream. Overnight at Yangthang.
Day 04: Trek from Yangthang to Hemis Shukpachen village across Tsermangchen La(2/3 hours)
Today is an easy walk despite the pass because both the approach and the descent are of gentle gradients. The trail heads north, descending for a bit, crossing a stream before climbing up west again to Tsermangchen La (3750m). After a short walk Hemis Shukpachen village. Overnight at Hemis Shukpachen village. The village, named after the grove of cedars, is one of Ladakh’s prettiest. There are several sparkling streams surrounded by shady willows and large barley fields that provide a touch of green to the otherwise desolate, Rocky Mountains
Day 05: Trek from Hemis Shukpachen to Temisgam across Mebtak La (4/ 3 hrs trek)
Again this is a fairly easy day. The trail goes upward between two hillocks west of the village upwards until it veers south and climbs steeply up to the Mebtak La (3750m) marked by prayer flags. From the pass we head down the gorge of Ang to Temisgam village , a charming village with apricot orchards, where we camp for the night.
Day 06: Back to Leh from Alchi via Lamayuru. (120 kms)
After breakfast Jeep will take you back to Leh enroute sightseeing panoramic landscape of Lamayuru popularly known as moon landscape and visit Lamayuru monastery and 11th century Alchi monastery “ The living heritage of India” Packed Lunch/Hot Lunch on the way. Arrive Leh early evening check into Hotel/Guest for rest. Overnight at Leh in Hotel/Guest house.
Day 07: Flight Leh – Delhi.
After early morning breakfast transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi with memorable tour of Ladakh

In this trek, one can visit famous ancient monasteries of Sham valley. Routes pass through several prosperous villages of Sham valley with lush green barley/wheat fields, Apricot and Apple trees. One can spend over in family Home-stay Guest house to explore the traditional life style of Ladakh.
